Versatile Compatibility: Works with most commercially available bobbins and many pirns, including LeClerc, Schacht, and Harrisville. (Note: not compatible with Ashford plastic bobbins. See listing photos for examples.)
Low Maintenance: Sealed bearings require no upkeep, while the high-quality urethane drive belt—similar to those used in spinning wheels—ensures lasting performance.
Efficient Winding: An impressive 11:1 winding ratio means one turn of the wheel spins the bobbin 11 times for fast, effortless winding.
Secure & Stable: Includes a built-in clamp that attaches the winder firmly against the table. Fits lipped surfaces up to 2-1/4" thick for reliable stability.

Hard maple Weaver's Bobbin Winder
I just recently purchased this bobbin winder after needing an alternative to my noisy electric drill adapter method. This winder is excellent quality, super smooth, and best of all, whisper quiet (as you'd expect from a manual winder)and I can wind bobbins after everyone else goes to bed. I actually enjoy winding bobbins now!

Fantastic Winder
My order came quickly. It's a great size and weight and fits my schacht bobbins perfectly. I love it. I had just started using a boat shuttle with my rigid heddle and had been hand winding the bobbins while I researched winders. I'm so glad I went with this one.

From Spindle to Bobbin via Fiber Artist Supply Bobbin Winder
I purchased the bobbin winder this year and wanted to use it to tryout hand spun yarn for samples using smaller bobbins. This tool is excellent. I spun my singles using a supported spindle and set it up to wind off onto a LeClec bobbin using the Fiber Artist Supply bobbin winder. Very easy to set up and use!

This bobbin winder is the best one I've used. It's smooth, easy to operate, and very well made. Even paying the difference between the Canadian and American dollars, it's worth the money. Great customer service too!

This bobbin winder is a delight to use. Such a simple, clean design - and beautifully made, as are all their products. Winds smoothly and easily clamps to the top of a bookcase next to my loom. Best buy for the money anywhere.

Bobbin winder
I bought this hand bobbin winder a while back. It works just fine. No problems at all. I have it connected near my loom, I use it as needed, its quiet, workmanship is lovely and the price is right. This is a very good product.
