The high-capacity yarn meter is a perfect example of simplicity and function. This model is crafted from premium quality hard maple, sanded until smooth and finished with natural danish oil, giving it a maintenance-free sheen that should last a lifetime. 

One revolution of the wheel connected to the counter equals 1 foot, allowing the user to count 9999 feet, and a reset knob maker zeroing the unit quick between uses. The table clamp can be connected to any table from 1/2" to 1-1/2" thick. Longer clamps available upon request.

There are two ways to wind yarn through this winder: the user can thread yarn through the yarn guide, completely around the wheel, and out through the yarn guide on the opposite side of the unit, or through the yarn guide and over the wheel and out the yarn guide on the opposite side if the unit. Either method produces accurate measurements, though the first method creates more tension on the yarn as it exits the yarn meter.
